Hi guys, My name is Rosie and I am from the freezing midwest US. I've always been fascinated by houseplants but never had the opportunity to live in a home with much natural lighting until now!

I had an office at work that had a great big south facing window a few years ago and I starting with a few simple plants. I became known as the crazy plant lady...I had 2 Hoya plants (Hindu rope and a carnosa tricolor), 1 Oxalis triangularis, 1 Pothos and 1 Philadendron, 1 Purple Waffles. They all thrived in the office. When I got another job I took them all home...didn't realize that hubby programmed the thermostat to be way cooler during the work hours than other hours...and most of my plants died. Crying

Fast-forward two years later to 2014, our new home with a ton of windows! Pothos and Philodendron survived and are thriving....Oxalis survived, as did 1 Hoya, and now I have added Spider plants and a few Bromeliads.

Excited to be here and learn from you guys!!
