@drdawg - you're right -- it's 16,000 lumens. Not sure where I got the 30,000 from - wishful thinking maybe. Got it installed today and was focusing on getting the plants within a few inches of the bulbs ... then remembered your warning. Even though folks on Amazon said it "didn't put out that much heat" I noticed that within 10-15 minutes the heat was noticeable. I lowered the plants so they are about 12-14 inches away now. It's the Milliard brand- was disappointed to see the one page info that came with it (absolutely no warranty) - quite to the contrary, a complete disclaimer of liability ("buyer assumes all risks and liability from the use of this product"). Made in China. I miss the Made in America days - and I keep looking and hoping for more Made in America, even if the cost is a bit more. However, there are good reviews on the product on Amazon, so I think I'm okay. Just disappointed with this new "Chinese tactic".

It sure puts out a lot of light. Looking forward to some improvement in what I'm growing in there.
