My grandmother always had rows of flowers in her veggie garden. Zinnias, Bachelor Buttons, Marygolds, Glad's, and others. She loved to have fresh flowers in the house, and would go out and pick them fresh to bring in the house. I'm going to have a row of Dahlias in my veggie garden this year, and the iris seedlings have begun to take some of the space as well.
Jo Ann, that cheese cake looks a lot like mine, except I didn't put brandy in it, but that's a good thought.
I top mine with a streusel topping too, but I also add carmalized almond slivers and and drizzle it with caramel.
