Yup, from seed in only 9 months from sowing to bloom. That's part of the reason that I sort of lean towards the Aurea hybrids, they are sturdy, and grow fast. Thanks for the comments, it's one of my favorites, and will be the first one named. So, jump right in there and start some seeds, you may be surprised at what you get. All the info on hybridizing can be found in detail on the BGI site, check it out. here is another one that will be registered also, I love the yellow/oranges
