My neighbor has a climbing grape plant all along my fence, I really do not like the plant but discovered it
serves a great purpose! It is highly attractive to Japanese Beetles and gets loaded with them, which keeps them off my roses, and makes it easy for me to tap the Beetles into a bucket of water, I can get rid of tons of them a day.
My neighbor does have tons of great plants and flower gardens, but no one has lived in the house the 15 months since we moved in here, the people passed away and the kids come over from time to time to do things there and do a great job tending to things, such a beautiful house and vacant. The woman who use to live there did a great work of art in her yard, just so pretty!
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
