You can search the database here for plants designated as "houseplants." They are known to be able to do well in most indoor environments, in a pot.
To search specific attributes, click on plant database, search by all characteristics, about halfway down the page is a section called "suitable locations." "Houseplant" is one of those. Then click the search button at the bottom of the page. The database is constantly being edited, added-to, but a search just now yielded 316 results.
