Neal yes I have tried watermelon pickles. My grandmother made them and I can remember how sweet they tasted all these yrs later. Very good.
This last summer I made pickles for the first time. I didn't want to go through all the hoopla of skimming brine, and all those steps to making them so I used a Mrs. Wages packet and made the dill pickles. I made B&B pickles from ingredients I had in the kitchen, amazingly I had all the spices I needed. I'm not much on the B&Bs but I love the dills. I was so sick of cukes after this little venture of mine lol!
I have found a few recipes for the salsas with fruit, they are scarce. I can't remember much about them now, I'll look them up again when is closer to time to make them.
