Try looking at Phaseolus lunatus ( Dr. Martin's Lima Bean ) or Phaseolus lunatus ( Jackson Wonder Lima Bean ) as either of them can sometimes have variegated leaves.

For some reason I had it in my mind that someone told me that they use the Phaseolus vulgais Beans in those kits? But those are not Lima beans.


I don't have photos as I gave them away shortly after to someone. But I will check out the cultivars you listed.
