Sometimes I do remember to soak, yes, but I don't recall soaking the above-mentioned varieties.

Are the light shelves to hasten germination or do you plan to grow your seedlings in the vermiculite?

I've tried those gardenias a couple of times, but I think I'm truly over it now. Whistling
