LOL, Char! LOVING CYRUS! Lovey dubby (Hey, that'd be a *great* name for a daylily!)

Here is my garden Companion, Warp. The first picture is from a local county park; the second picture was taken in our "Back 40", showing him in pursuit of gophers. (He has never caught any of *our* gophers, though he has caught 4 (thus far) at our pet sitter's home (she loves him!).)

I can't really call him a garden helper... he has a high prey drive and flattens or tears apart many plants here in his insanely driven pursuit of critters. Glare But despite that, it is still rather nice (when I am not yelling "NO!" at him, or searching for him to make sure he hasn't found some new escape route) to have his company. I guess you could say that he is a good plant divider (last year he "divided" an overgrown clump of 'Beautiful Edgings'), but as he is also capable of digging, it would be neat to see if I could teach him to dig planting holes on command. Rolling on the floor laughing

Let's hear it for our garden Companions!
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
