I think I will try this idea for outdoors and sink the bucket into a larger tub. That way I can fill the tub with soil and plant it with low growing plants and then put small buckets on this plant pole and fill with hanging succulents. I will paint the pole a flat brown to emulate rusty metal and put small galvanized buckets on it. By sinking it into a large galvanized tub I think it will be very eye catching.
