Gosh, pulling from way back...it seems like I remember reading that, they should be fine unless the leaves have not started shading the branches, before we reach our blazing hot weather. If you do not have enough new leaf growth to cover the branches by then, you should tie a light shade cloth over the tree to protect the branches from sun burn. Can't remember where I read that...but it seems I did read it somewhere...sorry, not much help Sad
