I am learning to appreciate things like seed pods and interesting bark and the things that you call winter interest. Except that where I am, so much of it is summer interest. The wild plants in particular go dormant in the summer so I have no wildflowers to photograph so instead I've gotten interested in photographing things like seed pods and interesting bark.
