I've only lived here two years, but I haven't seen a Monarch yet. I even ride the ATV up and down the road to check out all the other milkweeds that are growing, and haven't seen anything. But, I'll keep looking, and if I ever see a caterpillar, it will get a pet from from both of us! If nothing else, the bees seem to like the flowers, so it is worth it just for that.
