I agree Larry, the dormants when they emerge have beautiful foliage. I have taken to try and remember what I see as dormant and rushing into the house to look up that cultivars registration info. If I was smart I'd take the daylily list outside with me.

I stay in town when I work, so when I come home I'm excited to see what has popped out of the ground in the 3 days I'm gone. There's always something new!
