Thanks Jane. This mystery illness of Riley's is really starting to wear me down. I never know what to expect from day to day and I don't know what the ultimate outcome might be...if this is a brain tumor, then I'd like to be prepared ...it's terrible to have false hope that this is something like an injury or an illness that might eventually go away. Today is a good day; she's up and acting normally, but I know it's because of the prednisolone. I'm still not ruling out an injury...she had this weird bump on her head for a while that eventually went away. To my inexpert fingers, it SEEMED like it might have been following a suture line or a crack in her skull. The vet tends to rule out brain tumor simply because neither vet can see anythig strange going on with her eyes....they seem to think that a brain tumor would show up in some way in her pupil shape/size/dilation.

Yeah, we got hammered with this last storm.....at least 9 inches of snow but I think it's more like a foot. Then, last night, bitter cold, my thermometer read MINUS 4 this morning. So this ain't going anywhere real soon. We are supposed to get into the 40s by Monday so maybe... I'm just so tired of this. It's one thing to have the snow and bitter cold in January or even early February, but March? I'm just dreading to see what I've lost in the way of garden plants. I thought last winter's freak frigid weather (the Polar Vortex) that took out some of my lavender and santolina, etc. was just that...a freak. So I did not think to cover or protect anything for this winter. I wont' do that again....next fall, I'm covering everything that's even halfway susceptible.

Well, better get to those litter boxes.... they are getting a workout in this weather *HA*
