I need to do this to an indoor Croton plant variety I absolutely love called 'Mother & Daughter' that I bought as a 8" plant 10 years ago. It's cluster of 3 plant trunks have grown to 3', lanky & top heavy. I will follow your directions to shorten it with the benefit of getting rooted cuttings. Thanks for sharing, tabbycat
