I generally will add a couple of handfuls of Osmocote, or the equivalent slow-release fertilizer, to each wheelbarrow load of potting media. Since I water/fertilize so frequently (having over 800 tropical plants, I'm always watering and/or fertilizing something! ), those potted-up plants, with my coffee grounds infused media, get that supplemented as well.
