Is cutting the panels in half (their height dimension/width of the arbor) just a matter of preference, or is there a more practical reason for it? It seems to me, for some plants (e.g., larger 'climbing' roses), would appreciate the full 50" width. Btw (and I'm sure you're used to hearing/reading it), from the views provided here you have a beautiful yard. Thanks for the article.
