I just want to point out that these have been around since Victorian times.
What are new are the ivy pelargoniums which now come in tulip and popcorn flower forms.

In the book by John Feltwell, he calls these "Rosebuds and Tulips" on page 82/83.

He mentions Pelargoniums PELFI "Summer Red Rose" and "Summer Lilac Rose" as two of the ivy leaved ones which are new.

What does Pelargoniums PELFI mean?
Okay I googled it-------Pelargonium Fisher is a German company which has the ivy ones.
