Wonderful photos Bonnie! Those fields are wonderful! I'm pretty sure your yellow and green double is Van Sion, that variation from bloom to bloom is typical of them. Old House Gardens said something interesting about Van Sion I never knew- that well grown bulbs, like from growers fields in Holland, will have first year blooms with a yellow corolla and cup filled with petaloids, and from then on will have the double bloom form like yours and mine. I'm dividing mine this summer, and curious if I can get them to produce some blooms like they describe!
