According to this Columbia University page on Canada thistle:

"The only states in the US that are relatively free of Canada Thistle are Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida."

Is it possible to get a close-up photo of the underside of a leaf? I'm also not sure I'm seeing any spines, are the tips of the leaves hard and pointy?
