Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt is really pretty. I wish I have it, but the bud looks different and Mrs Roosevelt does not have carmine streaks.

I googled Shirly Temple and found something interesting; there are pictures of ST with almost white buds and also pictures with pink buds like mine. Confused

Sarah Bernards might be too pink. Anyway, several days ago I bought bear root SB, potted it and she already has a bud. The pot is still inside, but I'll bring her out in a couple of days. Hope I'll see at least one flower this year so we can compare.

The blush NOID will probably stay unnamed for some time. Never mind. The only thing that I don't like about the blush NOID is that its petals get spoiled by rain. Other than that, it is beautiful. Is there any way to prevent petal disfiguration caused by rain?
