Oh so sorry Sue, this new thread got overlooked. I guess this forum is not as active as hoped.
There are just so many varieties and there may be totally different varieties for you there. Do you want scented pels, ivy pels, regale pels, fancy leafed ones? For me, they all seem relatively easy to grow, also easy to root from cuttings most of the time. Several of mine have gone through minor overnight frosts and recovered, the ivy leafed ones seem hardier varieties, the fancy leafed ones seem more tender. I have lost a few here and there that were more frost tender.
I just picked up several ivy ones for my balcony boxes, this was one of them.


and I got this scented one the other day.
Scented Geranium (Pelargonium 'Concolor Lace')

I've had this ivy one for years, I pretty much ignore it.
