I have been very pleased with the results of my cedar subfloor and permeable-fabric floor. It is easy on my feet/legs and since it absorbs water, by slowly releasing water vapor, the humidity is raised. My tropical plants and vegetable seedlings like that. It is an inexpensive alternative to brick/gravel/sand flooring.
