I know what you mean; when my mom broke up housekeeping to go live with my sister, a lot of things got "lost" somewhere. I especially regret the loss of my dad's old hand tools. I'd like to pass on some of the things I have from family, but I'm waiting until my nieces/nephews get old (and hopefully wise) enough to appreciate them.
