Try burying your tag by the semps, twit taught us that some years ago. You can put one out for easy reference and one buried so little hands won't find them. : )

Many of us had troubles last year with new plants blooming, semps from many different sources. It was such an odd year. And getting them planted early makes a big difference. For your weather conditions June may be to late. Also giving them afternoon shade, or all day filtered bright light might be helpful. It seems to be the combination of heat and humidity that is hard on them in the southern states.

I look forward to seeing photos of your semps.
