The flower in Elfie's rat tail is still partially open, eventually it will open up more. It takes awhile to open up especially if it gets shaded, the more sun the more it blooms wider. My garden gets part sun then shade the rest of the day, so it takes awhile for the blooms to show.

Feel free to ask Elfie, if she can post the entire plant photo. Smiling

I will show you a bloom sequence of the rat tail's flower taken last year..it was its first time to bloom in my garden, I was so afraid it might blast, so kept taking pictues for my file Big Grin It was its only bloom last year.
