I bought some of this ginger last summer, lateish..... I'm in a cold zone 7, and hoped it would make it.

We had a horrible horrible winter, and toward the end, after things had begun to warm up, we had one night of a sudden plunge into the single digits overnight.

I was sure my ginger was gone. I kept looking this spring as other plants emerged, but Crying no.

Just now, reading the first post in this thread, I decided to go have one more look.

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Four of these little babies are poking their heads up!

I think I am going to move them though, to a sunnier spot and not risk it again! Beside, I want flowers!
