I potted my pineapple plant about a week, went through the removal of tons of bottom leaves, as many of the tiny leaves, and letting it dry before potting it. It seems to be doing good and actually looks greener, I've had to water it twice. Now I have a ton of dead bottom leaves, but since it's only been a week and I'm not sure if it's rooted yet; should I leave those for now? How would I get rid of them once it's rooted strongly? Some top leaves when I cut my pineapple were already starting to brown, and so I've trimmed the dead parts with scissors.
