Don't know if any of this will help but it's a start:

Ranunculus ficaria 'Double Bronze' - zone 4-8, in our database but not much info:
Fig Buttercup (Ficaria verna subsp. verna 'Double Bronze')

Ranunculus repens 'Flore Pleno'/Creeping Buttercup - zone 3a and up. http://www.hgtvgardens.com/flo...

This next one may be the same plant as the 'Flore Pleno' with the name worded differently. It's listed in our database but not much info.
Ranunculus repens var. pleniflorus - zone 4 -9,

http://www.perennials.com/plan...

Ranunculus acris 'Flore Pleno' owned by an ATP member in zone 3:
Sunset Zone 28, AHS Heat Zone 9, USDA zone 8b~"Leaf of Faith"
