Very pretty. I have a few clumps of daylilies (not blooming yet) that I try and hide from the deer/groundhogs. Last year I resorted to covering them with plastic deer fencing (looked more like a barricade), but at least I was able to enjoy the flowers.

This year I'm trying something different - a new homemade deer repellent. It's basically the ingredients for DEER-BE-GON - which works pretty well for me. It's a mix of 65% eggs, 20% oil of cinnamon, and 15% oil of cloves mixed with a gallon of water. *I used 3 eggs, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, and 2 teaspoons of ground cloves. Couldn't find oil of Cin or Cloves, so I used powdered forms and added vegetable oil to the mix. I mix a batch and let it ferment in the sun for a few days. So far it's not clogging up in the sprayer. It smells - AWFUL at first, but then tones down. The cinnamon & cloves scent is sort of pleasant. I reapply about once a week. Weatherwise, it's been dry. If it should become rainy for awhile, I might have spray more often. Have to wait and see.
