There were MANY patches of it. Looks like you need to visit in late June, Ursula! Or sometime in summer....
The bog book also included Habenaria orbiculata http://www.ct-botanical-societ...
and H. fimbriata http://www.wildflowersofontari... but we didn't look in the woods (maybe I should go back).
Early in July there are H. blephariglottis http://www.orchidspecies.com/p...
and late July, H. clavellata http://www.ct-botanical-societ...
and ragged fringed orchids (H. lacera) http://www.ct-botanical-societ... along the boardwalk.
