I would say 'Miniature' or 'Dwarf' are the smallest, then 'compact', then 'semi-compact', and in all cases it refers to the growth habit of the tree.

Who is Jungle Jerry??

If you look on Jungle Jack's website (http://www.junglejacksplumeria...) and go to his galleries, he will specify the growth habit for most of his varieties.

Some of the older varieties that you might consider are Dwarf Pink Singapore, a true dwarf, and Penang Peach, an excellent compact.
