Joe, yes they were too small. The double nose I kept was slightly larger and the scales were a little fatter and more spread apart at the base, making it the most likely candidate of the bunch, but in the end I decided not to scale that one, even. Especially since I was able to snap those two little offset bulblets out of there. These were some pretty small bulbs.

What about that nice 3 pointer you got? Did you opt to break that one 3 ways or did you plant it as a clump? Mine are nosed up in the garden already. Smiling
