If you have any spare deer mesh, hardware cloth (which is metal), bird mesh, garden wire fencing, put it around the bottom 3' of the clem. Rabbits love new growth while deer do as well but will eat the leaves (not the stems). Use Sluggo or some slug/earwig product to protect it.

If you're sure it's a rabbit you can sprinkle quite a bit of Blood Meal around it. That won't hurt the clem but the rabbits, who hunt by scent, won't care for it.
