Celebrating Gardening: 2015 Plant Identifier
I'm not fond of the pink/yellow combo either. Have seen too many commercial landscapes with 'Stella D'Oro' and landscape roses like 'Nearly Wild' combinations. Each is a nice plant on their own but I see waaaay too many 'Stella' plantings around here. I have made on exception here - Dicentra 'Gold Heart' - only because I like bleeding hearts and gold foliage but it can be rather jarring in spring with all of the other softer blooms.
