My seedling, nearly a year old, with The Book behind it, photos of Socotranums that must be well more than fifty years old, and probably more like 100 years old.. Why bother? Someone kindly sent me seeds he'd collected on a visit to Socatra Island. I didn't ask for the seeds. It's pretty impossible to go there now, what with the horrid political situation in Yemen.
