Woodpecker numbers are sure not down here Karen. They are draining the Hummingbird feeders . It got so bad I have stopped feeding the Hummers for now. The woodpeckers kept spilling the sugar water and we had ants every where. Even when I switched to a feeder without a perch it learned how to hang onto that. I also tried putting out orange slices away from the feeder for them but they still came to the sugar water.
