Those are all such great photos, Lin! The Jays really are characters, I like them but they sure can be noisy. Haven't seen very many this year for some reason.
Here's another one of my attempts to zoom in for a picture. This bird flew right above my head and landed on a nearby tree branch, about 50 feet high up. I think it's a young Coopers Hawk. He probably had his hawk-eyes on some little bird when I showed up.
