Hey everyone , Yes that is a Magnolia. It is one of the first signs of Spring here. I do not know its botanical name. We just call it the tulip Magnolia because of the shape of its flowers. This year we added two white ones to our collection. Last year we added two Gems. They look like a regular magnolia only smaller in size all around. Good for focal points in garden. If you have time hop over to the Welcome to Holiday crafts forum . I posted my crochet there and no one is visiting. Have a good day..I am off to paint a masterpiece. Sandy is on a trip to San Antonio with the band. They insisted on taking her as a guest and are paying all expenses for four days. How cool is that? That means I have alone alone time and I am going to paint paint paint. I already did some coleus babies today. Forget about clean clean clean ...maybe tomorrow not today. Oh just a can you believe it note .... for Sandy to go on this trip they had to line up five people to cover all she does at that school.. lol I wonder why she does not get a five people salary. shirley
