I hope that did not sound like I was bragging - more astonished.

We moved into a brand new house with no yard, nothing, a house and dirt. My last house had a garden when we moved into it and I did absolutely nothing with it, never even thought about it that much. But we moved to a new house and all of a sudden I had a blank canvas and something clicked in my brain.

I first made a mailbox garden, then a bigger clay garden (all we had was clay), then a 10x15 butterfly garden and after we had a patio poured I started on a rock wall next to the walk out basement. I started 8 years ago with zero knowledge of what I was doing and just stuffed plants in that seemed to fit. Many didn't and ideas came and went and as you all know no garden is ever "done".

Then a friend of mine and I started on a HUGE rock wall under our water tower with the 8 years of knowledge we accrued. The sedum had problems and that is when I found this place.

ANYWAY - this is what the rock wall looks like . . at the moment.

OOPS - sorry - I see there is a place for photos - I apologize.
