I bought a minifamous double red yesterday, what a cool looking plant! It looks a lot like a double mini rose!
Here where it's hot and windy all summer, the calibrachoa hold up ok in pots in full sun. They do better if they have afternoon shade, but they do need sun at least part of the day to bloom. I have brought them back from a full wilt, so they are tough plants. What has killed them, though, is soggy roots, so make sure they have good drainage.
I've noticed the Kong coleus do not like strong winds. I've seen them in full sun in places where drip watering was monitored carefully. The colors look best where the plant has dappled shade, though.
hope that helps!
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
