LOL, We don't have Chipmunks here but I once had squirrels burying peanuts in the yard and
Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) plants were popping up everywhere. An elderly neighbor said she couldn't believe they would sprout in the lawn like that. I took a few peanuts and stuck them in a pot of soil and gave the basket to her ... much to her surprise, she ended up with peanut plants!
