Celebrating Gardening: 2015
here is the pic of what it looks like up the tulip tree at the top.......about 80 feet. Someone else took this pic. they hope to make my tulip tree a heritage tree very soon and grown the seeds that I am donating back to conservation around my area..... It takes 50 years for this tree to make a viable seed from the pod......

and here is the flower at the top.........blooming down the tree possibly will be a couple more weeks before the flowers are at eye level to see them.....

the flowers are so pretty and huge huge and look like paper......almost like someone just went and put the flower at the top the tree that they made........instead of the real flower..... perfect shape and so on. My tree is a species but there are a number of hybrids out there so that is what makes the seed and tree so unqiue here and that the tree produces male and female flowers and they get pollinated by the bees..... Very similar in some ways to the Regale Lily
