It's good they are not too sweet and that rabbits don't eat them. I live right in the middle of the wild, at the entry of a narrow creek (surrounded by mountains and native woods - beautiful!). I have two cats (both very good hunters!) and no mice inside the house, but out there ...... many (including rats - eeeekkk). Due to the persistent draught, all these rodents eat my flower plants/roots/bulbs Sighing! now that it is cold and the cats stay in the house during night.

Thank you very much for your input, Ann. Your info. is of great value to me. I am used to Stevia, so that's no problem. I have added all kinds of stuff to my tea (ginger slices, crushed cardamom seeds, etc), but, so far, only milk to my coffee. I will have to try dry fruit now! Will Google for seeds right away.
