I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
I had some in pots over the winter and they died. Liberty and Victory were two of those. I had someone tell me later to turn the pots over on their side for the winter. But if they are in very large pots I'm not sure that would work, maybe covering with some cardboard or something to help shed water off. I think the idea is to keep water from freezing over the crown of the plant?
