Some Lilies do okay here in Fla. while others not so much. I grow a few of the evergreen varieties of Daylilies and I also have Lily (Lilium longiflorum) that a friend gave me years ago. At our old house it multiplied and did very well so before we moved four years ago I dug a couple of the bulbs and potted them up. I finally put them in the ground last year so they haven't had a lot of time to multiply yet but they seem to be doing okay.
