Dear Jon, I am glad it brought back some memories and indeed Happy ones. I went fishing there when I was young, and to the then Motor racing track to watch the famous race Drivers!
It is indeed a remarkable and beautiful place, steeped with History and a certain power that I cannot express in words. That is why I left it to the photos to do the talking, not me.
There is a museum there now which is very interesting and worth a look at it is at http://www.crystalpalacemuseum...
I will put Part 2 on as soon as possible. Thank you for your comments.
Here is a picture of the fishing lake with a pair of Great Crested Grebes on it, I took this on Wednesday!
