Dear Kathy, it is not the camera and my rucksack that is the problem it is the wife! You just get in picture and plant mode and she wants something to eat and a coffee in the cafe outside the Gardens, then the toilets and a stop for an Ice Cream! I am ex-Army and carry everything I need, no messing about then, or stood whistling outside the cafe waiting.
It is my fault though as I normally do things on my own, but she wanted to see this wonderful place I often talk about!
Glad you enjoyed it, it is stunning in the spring and mid summer.
Strangely enough I was thinking about you! There is a now Nature Reserve where they dumped all the soil from the Channel Tunnel, which is the the Tunnel between England and France. For some reason the Scientists cannot understand is why about 38 of our 50 species of wild Orchids have come up there and grow all over the place. I have seen all 50 species but not 38 in one place! Now that would be worth a visit, but as I normally walk everywhere, it is too far so that means taking the wife.
Thanks for your comments.
Regards.
Neil.
p.s. Busy last night making iced buns. A Bakers dozen (13)
